GDPR is a new set of laws brought in by the European Union in May 2018. The following information applies to those of you who are governed by the laws of the EU.

The Right To Access.

You may request access to any of your personal data that we have stored and ask how your data is used by our company after it has been collected and gathered. We must provide a copy of the personal data free of charge in electronic format.

The Right To Be Forgotten.

If you are no longer a customer of ours, or if you withdraw your consent from our company to use your personal data, then you have the right to have your data deleted from our system.

Anyone who decides to unsubscribe from any of our newsletters or email updates will immediately stop receiving emails and their info is deleted.

The Right To Data Portability.

You have the right to transfer your data from our website to any other service provider. You may do this by looking up your details (see The Right To Access above) and transferring those details. Or you may contact our customer support if you have other requests.

The Right To Be Informed.

This relates to your right to be informed about any gathering of data.

Here we are informing you of how we gather data:

We use Google Analytics to see where our visitors are coming from (websites, countries, and search phrases). This is not identifiable by the individual and is gathered as a whole through the Google Analytics platform.

To opt into one of our newsletters, reports, eBooks, or other educational material, we sometimes collect your name and we collect your email address you enter into the form. If you are a member of one of our products, we’ll also collect a username and password for you to use. We also store the date that you joined, and your IP address. We need to store this as proof that you gave consent to opt-in to our educational material. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link that is contained in every one of our newsletters and or emails we send you.

If you are subscribed to any of our newsletters, then we collect data on open rates and click-through rates from our emails, so that we know which topics are of higher interest to our readers. When opting into our newsletters or other lists that provide educational information on the topic you are interested in, or members updates, etc, we give details on those opt-in page forms, so that your consent must be freely given in order to join our list. In most cases a confirm your subscription email is sent immediately after you opt in to the inbox you provided. You must click the confirm subscription link in that initial email to even be added to our email list. On some forms a box is provided for the subscriber to check that confirms they want to receive the information. You can also unsubscribe at any time once added to the list or lists you requested.

We also gather data to determine which of our pages are visited more frequently, and when sales are made, we gather those sales numbers to determine which pages are getting higher sales. This enables us to provide you with more content that is desired by the market, while growing our business in a market driven fashion.

The Right To Have Information Corrected.

Should you wish to update or correct your information with us, simply contact us and let us know what needs to be changed via our contact us page.

The Right To Restrict Processing.

You may request that your data is not used for processing. Data can remain in place without being used, or can be deleted at your request.

The Right To Object.

You have the right to stop the processing of your data for direct marketing. We make this very clear at the start of any communication with us (such as subscribing to a newsletter), and you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking a link within any of our emails. You can also cancel at any time if you happen to be part of a recurring billing membership.

The Right To Be Notified.

If there has been a data breach which compromises your personal data you will be informed within 72 hours of us first having become aware of the breach.
